Growing up in New Orleans, I always had a passion for storytelling. At 18, I left for college on the east coast with dreams of becoming a filmmaker. However, everything changed when Hurricane Katrina hit my hometown. Witnessing the impact it had on my family, friends, and neighbor's lives made me rethink my career path. That's when I realized the power of design and how it could shape cities and communities.

I decided to pursue a degree in landscape architecture and received my masters from Harvard's Graduate School of Design. My focus shifted towards helping landscape and urban design firms tell stories about their designs through imagery and video. It was an exciting time in my career, but I felt something was missing.

I was drawn to the world of product design and designing customer experiences. With my background in storytelling, I believed that creating compelling user experiences would be a natural fit for me. So, I took a leap of faith and transitioned into UX and product design.

For the last decade, I have had the privilege of working for startups and large corporations to launch and expand products that enhanced people's lives. Through these projects, engineers were able to improve offshore oil platforms for greater safety and productivity; people learned how they can invest in solar energy even without owning a home; attorneys discovered methods to fulfill their legal obligations in providing evidence to opposing parties. I look forward to using my innovative problem-solving skills to help businesses improve the lives of their customers.

When I'm not focused on design, I'm a husband and father that loves long distance running and listening to music. Now that I've relocated to Southern California, maybe I'll finally learn to surf…
